Giving Americans a REAL Voice against Government Waste
You don't have to live in Washington, D.C. to make a difference in fiscal accountability. At Wasted America, we believe in empowering people across the nation, from small town America to big cities, to take action in improving our country's fiscal policy.
Wasted America was formed by a nonpartisan group of ordinary citizens in Fulton, Kentucky, who became politically frustrated with the lack of fiscal responsibility in Washington, D.C. The citizens of Fulton have developed a brick and mortar organization, in which they have worked together to create an infrastructure with volunteers to support Wasted America. Wasted America intends to pursue Small Town America as its operational base to deliver significant change in Washington, D.C.
We were sick and tired of watching runaway government spending, skyrocketing national deficits and fiscal abuse threaten our country's security and give America a bad name, so we decided to do something about it. We don't believe it's fair that taxpayers like you are forced to pay for ridiculous programs and private interests that you would never voluntarily approve — that is, if anyone in Washington bothered to ask your opinion.
So, we decided to start a show designed to expose frivolous government spending, and give you the opportunity to cast your vote against the most egregious examples. But that's not all we do. Wasted America has strong partnerships with watchdog groups across the country, who help keep us informed on the latest government oversights. We'll tackle a new topic in every episode, while continuing to follow up on the issues we've addressed in the past. We won't stop until Washington takes action. Many organizations and news outlets are dedicated to ending government waste, but none will push more aggressively than Wasted America, to bring about change. Find out how we do it here.
